Report: European Consumer Centre Slovenia in 2023

In 2023, slightly more consumers turned to the European Consumer Centre Slovenia (ECC Slovenia) for help and advice than in the year before, which indicates that the situation has calmed down after the pandemic. The 2023 figures are quite similar to the figures for the year before the pandemic.




In 2023, the ECC Slovenia was contacted by 1,389 consumers, of which

  • 1,029 requested information or advice.
  • 360 filed complaints against traders.

ECC Slovenia helped to resolve the complaints of 224 foreign consumers against Slovenian traders and 136 Slovenian consumers against foreign traders. 

There were:

  • 81.8 % successfully resolved complaints from foreign consumers against Slovenian traders,
  • 58 % successfully resolved complaints from Slovenian consumers against foreign traders.
